Solargiant Energy (Pty) Ltd made a small beginning in 2010 after identifying the potential of solar pumps in the agricultural market. With an exciting solar alternative to the traditional reliable “windpomp”, Solargiant captured the market in the Eastern Cape and Free State with superior service delivery. Within a couple of years Solargiant has naturally grown into Grid Tie and Off-Grid Solar Systems for houses and farms. In 2018 Solargiant procured the reselling rights of supercapacitors as an alternative to lead acid and Lithium batteries in the Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Southern Free State. This led to expansion of its traditional Solar Systems in the Northern Cape. Today Solargiant has branches in the Eastern Cape and Northern Cape and moved into Africa with Lusaka, Zambia, as our main office under Nemsolar. In 2023 Solargiant merged with CBZ Mining in order to acquire deeper AC and automation expertise.  We, therefore, acquired expertise in seamless automation between Solar, Eskom, Generator and Batteries and are experts in Eskom banking where we give the complete solution from the start of the Eskom and Nersa application to the turnkey solar plant.
